Natan Borksy

Natan Borsky has worked primarily in sculpture. He has made serious contributions to the architecture of Kingston, NY, which includes the design of the IBM building.

SUNY New Paltz students will spot his immense sculptures outside of the Smiley Art Building.

His sculptures belong to private collections and the public can view them at various locations throughout Woodstock, New Paltz, and throughout Ulster County.

He has contributed major works in Israel.

He now lives in Bearsville, NY.

New York City - May 1989 - One of nine artists in the U.S. invited to participate in an Exhibit of Rememberance, titled "Shadows of a Lost Childhood". Curated by Jean Rosensaft, curator for the Jewish Museum.

Queens, N.Y. - June, 1990 - One of four artists invited by the Holocaust Resource Center of Queensboro Community College to display a collection of paintings and sculptures at the QCC Art Gallery.

 

Rockland, N.Y. - January thru April, 1994 - SOLO Exhibition, titled\ "Run For Your Life", at the Art Gallery of the Rockland County Holocaust Resource Center.
